Welllll I need your help again deciding which version of this image will go in my new book! Color or Black & White. The book will be a mix but this one is hard to decide. What are your thoughts?
I’m calling this image “Heaven and Earth” and it was taken in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Beautiful place! Water is full of territorial hippos and hungry crocs.

Love this shot Brian! I think I like the color better because the green grass gives a definitive separation between the sky and the water. In the b&w, it’s not as easy to distinguish this line, especially on the right side of the photo. Both are awesome, but I prefer the color.
Hard to decide, but I really like the depth of the color version. The sky appears to have a mood of its own while the grass and water sit innocently underneath. The reflection of the moody sky in the water reiterates the subtle ominous-ness among a calm, seemingly peaceful place. I’ll leave the conclusions undrawn.
