McLaren Super Car: Making of Photoshoot

Recently I had the opportunity to shoot for a personal childhood dream car manufacturer…McLaren! Here are a few* “making of” photos of the shoot. BTS Video and Final images coming soon. Have Fun!

NOTE! We did get a permit for the city to set up and block off the bridge….Don’t try this move on your own with out the proper production steps.

Gear we used:

  • Profoto Pro-7b battery packs and heads.
  • 5d. mk ii + 24-70 2.8L, 70-200 2.8L ii, 85 1.2L.
  • Pocket Wizard plus ii’s
  • Induro Tripod
  • Think Tank Bags
  • MacBook Pro.
  • Tostito’s Chips and Hot Sauce 😀

  • Love it. I assume you watch BBC’s Top Gear, (the British version?) If you haven’t, beautiful vehicles, beautiful photography and videography, and humor. Been considering purchasing the 24-70 2.8 for my next lens purchase. Need something wide angle. Any thoughts on that?

      Yes I love that show. hilarious and fun. 24-70 is my work horse. I love it. Solid Portrait lens, sharp and considerably fast. I also have the 16-35 2.8L which is a fantastic wide angle as well. just depends on what you shoot. 24-70 is the first lens I have purchased when getting a camera. hope that helps. have fun

      sounds great if you get the budget to do it right. there are a lot of BTS vids on those productions. not as easy as it looks….to get them that right
