This interview is pretty much a must for any cinematographer, director, or visual story teller.

I’ve been a huge Hitchcock fan since I was little. This man is known for being the king of directing and story telling. I was completely in awe of deep he went into his philosophy of story-film creation. Honestly it has helped my photography as well in telling a story.

“The media of pure cinema is what I believe in. The assembly of pieces of film to create fright is the essential part of my job”

“Horror is too easy, they are props, I believe in putting the horror in the minds of the audience rather than on the screen”
